By Jeff, on February 10th, 2011 Hi everyone!
We stopped by Epcot (below, left) yesterday to see if the 2011 Flower and Garden Festival preparations were underway, and they are! The beautiful flower quilt was planted in the last couple of days (below, right). This years festival will feature seventy five Disney character topiaries, the most ever including many newcomers from Disney/Pixar!

We had a fantastic day at the Magic Kingdom yesterday! The Chilean miners (below, left and right) were given a key to the Magic Kingdom in a parade and short ceremony, and they were even able to greet guests who gave them nothing short of a heroes welcome.

By Jeff, on January 22nd, 2011 Hi everyone!
I was able to join Denise from Mousesteps as she was invited to the Magic Kingdom “Let The Memories Begin” press event and the Disney Dream Christening Cruise! It was very exciting, to be part of both events. We checked into the Polynesian Resort, where check-in for the cruise was in the Tangaroa Terrace (below, left). We both have memories as children and teenagers of the restaurant, were our families stayed each year. The day was beautiful, there was perfect weather when Disney needed it (below, right).

Yesterday was gorgeous, a perfect day for the United States Air Force Thunderbirds flyover that was part of Air Force Week in Central Florida. The Main Street Philharmonic (below, left) played to the crowds before the parade. Members of the Thunderbirds and other Air Force members (below, right) were the Grand Marshals of the parade.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2010 is in full swing, and there were even some changes from our first Halloween Party. The large, inflatable pumpkins at the Magic Kingdom turnstiles are now up (below, left) and a gigantic spider was projected onto Space Mountain (below, right). I haven’t seen this effect in several years!

By Jeff, on August 24th, 2010 Hi everyone!
It’s been a rainy week here in Orlando, but we’ve been able to get out and enjoy the parks a bit even so. At the Magic Kingdom looking towards Cinderella Castle (below, left), we noticed that new metallic railings had been installed – and it might have happened a little while back, but we don’t usually get into this area that normally is roped off for the dessert party. The Tomorrowland Terrace (below, right) is being used for a dinner buffet through the free dining August/September time period.

By Jeff, on July 8th, 2010 Hi everyone!
I spent yesterday at the Magic Kingdom, where there are many changes afoot. Entering past Cinderella Castle (below, right), I headed to Liberty Square. A year after the updated Hall of Presidents (below, right) premiered, it is still as popular and well received as it was then. I am currently working on a Hall of Presidents DVD that will feature the 3 previous versions as well as the current version and more. Check back here for details and release information.
