Jeff Lange takes you back in time to experience this second in a series of DVDs featuring classic parades from Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!
Disney Dreams Come True Parade (2008)
Mickey Mouse leads a procession of Disney characters in this Magic Kingdom parade highlighting favorite Disney moments! Recollecting the early days of Disney cartoons and rejoicing in present day Disney animation, each float celebrates the inspiration of dreaming. Delight in the winsome “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” and the wonders of “Pinocchio”. Relive the adventure of flight in “Mary Poppins”, “Dumbo” and “Aladdin.” Not to be outdone, Disney villains Jafar, Maleficent and Chernabog add some spice to the mix. The finale is a shimmering castle featuring classic Disney characters!
Celebrate A Dream Come True Parade (2009)
Kicking off Disney’s newest promotion, this parade invites you to “Celebrate You”! Mickey and Minnie lead the character procession on a festive, brightly colored “Celebrate Today” float that is decorated with large horns and confetti. Dancers perform in vibrant outfits that are reminiscent of colorful candles on a cake. Parade stops allow the dancers to deliver the celebratory message to the audience, while characters including Pinocchio, Gepetto, Pluto and Goofy sing and dance along on their floats.
Move it! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party (2009)
This jubilant party takes you into the street to dance and conga with a host of Disney characters, stilt walkers and performers! Four special gifts open to surprise and delight you. Don’t just stand on the sidelines, join other Disney guests as they party along with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and more! The music and atmosphere bring pure enjoyment in this parade that is destined to become a Disney classic.
BONUS: SpectroMagic! Nighttime Parade (2006)
Over a half-million lights shimmer and dance in this long-running Disney favorite! Mickey Mouse cuts a grand figure in a lighted magicians cape, directing the symphony of lights, color and sound that bring this brilliant parade to life. You will enjoy characters from classic movies that include “The Little Mermaid”, “Fantasia” and “Aladdin”. The finale highlights the real star of this show – the lights, which in a Disney parade first, change from white to brilliant color with a flick of a paint brush!

Today I have some great photos and exclusive video from the upcoming Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival! Below is Sorcerer Mickey and the Broomsticks from Fantasia plus the all-new topiary from the Ostrich Ballet segment.
Just a quick update today with some exclusive new video from site partner MouseSteps.
Bonus Video #1: Contemporary Resort Bay Lake Tower from boat!
The water was extremely choppy on this day (and it was windy, making the camera hard to hold), but the interesting part of this video is the ferry boat (in an area one wouldn’t usually see it).
Bonus Video #2: Stitch’s Supersonic Celebration / Galaxy Theater Demolition!
This video shows construction on Stitch’s Supersonic Celebration, as well as a wall being built at the former Galaxy Theater at the Magic Kingdom.

This is a very colorful and photogenic parade, especially with the Cinderella Castle as a backdrop!
It is really fun to get out into the street and interact with the dancers and characters. I recorded this 5 times during my visit and wish I had a chance to get into the street and enjoy it fully! I plan to do just that on my next trip.
It is also great to see more obscure park characters, like Sebastianthe Crab and the Mad Hatter! Currently “Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party!” happens at 11:00, 12:30 & 5:45pm.
I have recently released Volume 1 in a series of Walt Disney World Parade DVDs. The first volume is called Magic Kingdom Parade Classics (if you enjoyed past parades like “Mickey Mania” and the “Remember the Magic Parade”, then check below for more details or to order!)
Here are some more photos from around Walt Disney World, taken by Denise at Mousesteps! She is still experiencing site update problems and wanted to get these great timely shots posted. Below are her photos and words:
