Disney’s Art of Animation Resort: Lion King Section Detailed Tour with Characters, Elephant Graveyard and More, BONUS: The Little Mermaid Section First Look – Photos and Video

Hi everyone!

We visited Disney’s Art of Animation Resort today, to photograph the new Lion King section. This area opens to the public officially on Friday! Rafiki (below, left) stands at the beginning to the pathway which leads guests through the lush landscaping. Mufasa (below, right) is on the opposite side, looking regal as always. Magic Kingdom Update: Dumbo The Flying Elephant Interactive Queue, New Fantasyland Construction, Grand Floridian DVC Villas – Photos and Video

Hi everyone!

We spent a few hours yesterday at the Magic Kingdom (below, left) – it’s hard to believe it’s been a month since we’ve visited! The last visit we made was when the Casey Jr. Splash ‘N Soak area was opened. The Main Street Bakery had been under a facade for quite some time including the last time we were here, and it looks very nice and bright now (below, right).

Magic Kingdom: Fantasyland Construction, Dumbo Testing, Barnstormer Sign, New Trees in Town Square plus Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Mardi Gras Parade – Photos and Video

Hi everyone!

We started out yesterday with a parade at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort and then ended it at the Magic Kingdom (below, left) to meet with friends. Dumbo the Flying Elephant’s new spinner was continously testing while we were in Fantasyland, with a Storybook Circus sign for “The Barnstormer” (below, right).

Fantasyland Construction Update: Including from Dumbo, Beasts Castle, Little Mermaid, Dumbo’s Circus and More – Photos and Video

Hi everyone!

We put up an Enchanted Tiki Room update yesterday, and will be back tomorrow for it’s official grand opening! In the meantime, here are some photos from the Fantasyland expansion. From Dumbo The Flying Elephant, you can see a great view of Beast’s Castle, along with Belle’s Cottage (below left). Work is going on in front of the Little Mermaid building (below, right).

Disney’s All Star Sports Resort New Refillable Mug Machines, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort Construction Update – Photos & Video

Hi everyone!

Today we have a major resort update, spanning the new refillable mug test (below, left) at Disney’s All Star Sports Resort to the construction progress at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Currently, the refillable mugs at Disney’s All Star Sports (below, right) have RFID chips in them – as do the standard cups – limiting the amount of soda you can pour at any given time.

Magic Kingdom Update: Haunted Mansion Changes, Skyway Station Removal, Fantasyland Construction: Beasts Castle, Little Mermaid, Dumbo’s Circus – Photos and Video

Hi everyone!

I spent the day with friends on Saturday, taking some time to get photos and video of changes to the Magic Kingdom since we were last there. The first stop was the Haunted Mansion (below, left), which has added directional signs showing the way to the “scenic route” and the direct route” (below, right), depending on whether you want to see the interactive queue or not.
