Hi everyone! We went to the Magic Kingdom yesterday afternoon to enjoy a little downtime – but it turns out, there was a lot to see and we ended up spending most of our time taking photos and video! A friend told us that the scrims on Main Street U.S.A. had been blown off buildings during a windstorm (below, left). We rode the Walt Disney World Railroad – 3 times! – and enjoyed the view of the new Fantasyland train Station which will be open soon (below, right).

Changes at the Magic Kingdom have been happening swiftly! We stopped by the Main Street Fire Station to pick up our Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom cards to play, and a new banner was out (below, left). We were happy to see the patches are now back inside of the Fire Station, we had been told weeks ago that that would happen (below, right).
Whats Happening Beasts Castle, Belle's Village, Big Thunder Mountain, Fantasyland, former Fantasyland Skyway Station, Haunted Mansion, Hitchhiking Ghosts, Liberty Square, Magic Kingdom, Main Street Fire Station, Peter Pan's Flight interactive queue, Prince Eric's Castle, Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, The Little Mermaid ride building, Tumbleweed, Walt Disney World Railroad Hi everyone! We enjoyed a picture-perfect day at the Magic Kingdom, though the temperatures never rose above 50 degrees. Mickey and Minnie Mouse were still dressed in their Christmas finest (below, left) and decorations were still up around the park. Dumbo the Flying Elephant was testing in Storybook Circus (below, right). The current Dumbo that will be part of the twin Dumbos will close on January 9th and is set to open again on February 18th!
Hi everyone! We spent Sunday at the Magic Kingdom, which is in the full swing of Christmas (below, left). We had the opportunity yesterday to take photos and video as Miss America Teresa Scanlan joined Champions from the Children’s Miracle Network as Grand Marshals in the Celebrate a Dream Come True parade (below left and right). Champions are young ambassadors from around the country who represent the 17 million children who have benefitted from Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

We didn’t go into the Magic Kingdom yesterday, but we did take photos looking into Fantasyland from the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Cinderella Castle is having the Christmas castle lights added (below, left). Rock work rises from the ground in front of Beast’s Castle (below, right).

From Dumbo The Flying Elephant, you can see a great view of Beast’s Castle, along with Belle’s Cottage (below left). Work is going on in front of the Little Mermaid building (below, right).
