Yesterday was a gorgeous, cool day at the Magic Kingdom (below, left). We encountered the Main Street streetmosphere characters by the Fire Engine as soon as we walked into the park (below, right). We once again play tested the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom interactive game and added to our growing collection of Sorcerers cards.

We enjoyed a picture-perfect day at the Magic Kingdom, though the temperatures never rose above 50 degrees. Mickey and Minnie Mouse were still dressed in their Christmas finest (below, left) and decorations were still up around the park. Dumbo the Flying Elephant was testing in Storybook Circus (below, right). The current Dumbo that will be part of the twin Dumbos will close on January 9th and is set to open again on February 18th!

We didn’t go into the Magic Kingdom yesterday, but we did take photos looking into Fantasyland from the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Cinderella Castle is having the Christmas castle lights added (below, left). Rock work rises from the ground in front of Beast’s Castle (below, right).

We put up an Enchanted Tiki Room update yesterday, and will be back tomorrow for it’s official grand opening! In the meantime, here are some photos from the Fantasyland expansion. From Dumbo The Flying Elephant, you can see a great view of Beast’s Castle, along with Belle’s Cottage (below left). Work is going on in front of the Little Mermaid building (below, right).
