It was a dark and rainy afternoon, but the updated “Celebrate a Dream Come True” parade still was able to continue in an abbreviated form. Roy O Disney and Minnie Mouse (below, left) sit in front of a fierce looking cloud. The parade (below, right), was in “rain parade” mode, meaning that fewer floats were present and some characters walked ahead of the parade.
Goofy, Donald and Pluto (below, left) celebrate another day at the Magic Kingdom. Mickey and Minnie (below, right) dance on their float.
Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket (below, left) wave to the crowds just before the rain starts. Prince Naveen (below, right) is a new addition to the final float, along with Princess Tiana.

We ran to Frontierland, where Snow White and Prince Charming put on a brave face, even with the rain. All of the characters, including Aladdin (below, right) continued normally in their roles.
Mary Poppins (below, left) is always prepared with her umbrella! Alice, The Mad Hatter and Wendy keep on performing even as the rain gets heavier (below, right).
Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen are now soaked from the downpour (below left and right), but Tiana is smiling and waving just as she did in the pictures above. A great job to the Disney performers who don’t break character even during a rain storm!
Bonus Video – Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade – Updated with Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen 8/9/10 – Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen now are part of the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade. Today’s version was a little different than normal, it’s what is known as a “rain parade” when the weather is threatening.
The Tomorrowland Transit Authority now has added Peoplemover back to the name (below left and right), I never did stop calling it that!

In Fantasyland, workers were busy beyond the wall (below left and right). We didn’t have time to stand in line for Dumbo this visit, but we expect to do that ever week or two to get photos and video.
Inside of Pinocchio’s Village Haus, the windows that normally look out on it’s a small world now are covered – but there are some nice pictures hanging above the tables (below left and right).
Pinocchio smiles in one picture (below, left), while he leads characters, including Figaro the cat, in the next (below, right).
The Harmony Barber Shop (below, left) has raised their prices. An adult haircut is now $19.00 and a baby’s first cut is $18.00 (below, right). A child’s haircut is $15.00. I had my first Florida haircut last August at the Barber Shop, it was a nice way to celebrate moving here!
