Star Wars Weekends was another hit this week, and C-3PO has been the biggest draw of all! (below, left and right). Crowds have followed him anytime he’s left his meet-and-greet spot, and lines have been long today to meet him. He was in the Celebrity Welcome as well (below, left), standing next to Tom Kane.
Video #1 – C-3PO Talks, Interacts and Walks at Star Wars Weekends 2010, Disney’s Hollywood Studios – We asked him if he will be returning the following weekends and if he will be at Celebration 2010.
C-3PO talks with Luke Skywalker (below, left). Denise from Mousesteps.com and I (below, right) pose with this incredible droid, a big surprise of Star Wars Weekends! He is fully interactive, answering questions and talking. We’ve been told by two Entertainment cast members that he will be back for the remaining Star Wars Weekends, and he even told us himself in the video below
C-3PO braves the crowds (below left and right) on his way to a break. He has been doing one hour meet-and-greet sessions, 3 or 4 times per day (this weeks times were 12:15, 1:35, 4:25 and 5:45 at the Ewok Village by Star Tours).
Earlier in the day, we enjoyed the Legends of the Force motorcade. Jedi Mickey greets the crowd (below, left) and an Iwok walks near while Chewbacca waves in the background (below, right).

Jeremy Bulloch (below, left) hosts the Stars of the Saga – Star Wars Celebrity Talk Show with guests Lorne Peterson and Matthew Wood. Peterson (below, right) is a model maker that joined Industrial Light and Magic in 1975.
Jedi Mickey made two appearances in the talk shows today. He presented Lorne Peterson (below, left) and Tom Kane (below, right) with a set of ears each, to welcome them into the Disney family. Star Wars Weekends surpassed my expectations again this week and I can’t wait to see what weekend 3 will bring. See you there!
