Disney rolled out the second day of it’s “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day” media event at Epcot on February 11th. The World Showplace was the scene of a world record-breaking 115,527 can structure, and the cans were then donated to food banks. The Jammitors opened the show (below, left) and Ambassador Clay Shoemaker (below, right) welcomed everyone.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’s Ty Pennington (below left and right) joins Mickey Mouse onstage to unveil the thousands of cans which are hidden by balloons.
The balloons lifted to reveal Pluto, Donald, Mickey, and Goofy as part of the can structure and the words “Celebrate Volunteers“. (below left and right). We have more video HERE, and HERE of the presentation.

The evening brought out the Disney Channel celebrities discussing volunteerism, including Demi Lovato (below, left) and Joe Jonas (below, right).
Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas also debuted the song “Make a Wave” for the crowd of volunteers and media. This song will be featured in the film “Oceans“.
Joe Jonas sings in front of Spaceship Earth (below, left) and Demi Lovato belts out “This Is Me” from Camp Rock.
Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato finished their two songs, which followed a song set by the group Allstar.
Video #3 – “Make a Wave”, Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato Epcot 2/11/2010 – This is the debut of the song “Make a Wave” from the upcoming film “Oceans”.
The media and volunteer event featured a nice dinner with stations of food that included heirloom tomato soup (below, left). A drink station was set up at the Kim Possible booth (below, right).
