Tomorrowland’s Space Mountain has finally unveiled the end of it’s post-show. It’s really not that different than previously, with monitors showing guests as they pass by. The attraction was not too busy today, with waits between 10 minutes and 30 minutes this afternoon (below, left). The queue was nearly empty on the first ride (below, right).

It’s been about a week since we’ve been to the Walt Disney World theme parks, and much has happened in the meantime. The Main Street USA train station is undergoing some sort of rehab (below, left). I’ve not seen any information about this elsewhere as to what is going on. Brochures showing the ice castle and Splash Mountain (below, left) show what is not available to guests currently at the park.

We’ve been experiencing beautiful weather in Orlando after the freezing temps at the start of the year. Off-season is a transitional time at Walt Disney World, and much of the update will have to do with that. Here are some photos from near the end of the Walt Disney World Marathon 2010! Props to everyone who ran this endurance race, especially in the colder weather – it’s been literally freezing in Orlando, we even had light snow and sleet! It didn’t stop friends and family from cheering the runners on (below left and right).
