Christmas has started to appear at the Magic Kingdom, though it’s not yet fully decorated yet. Poinsettia trees flank the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party sign (below, left) and a Nutcracker stands guard in front of the train station (below, right).
Mickey’s head is a giant ornament (below, left) and Christmas trees adorned with ribbons help usher in the holiday season (below, right).
All-New Toy Soldiers take up residence in Town Square (below left and right). The soldiers replaced the former Town Square train, blocks, rocking horse and Nutcrackers (which are now in front of the main entrance/train station with Mickey’s head – Click HERE to see last years displays).
Space Mountain is nearly ready for it’s re-opening. It sounds like not a lot has changed with the ride itself, although the outside color is more vivid (below left and right).
A Space Mountain car climbs up the hill (below left and right). There seems to be constant testing as cars can be heard and seen at all times of the day. Currently, Space Mountain is scheduled to open on or around November 21st.
Everyone seemed to think a fountain was going into the front, but it’s a circle with trees (below, left). The Rockettower Plaza Stage gets the Christmas treatment (below, right).
Garland has been added to the castle (below, left). Outside the train station, the Disney Flag looks like it’s being held up by Christmas ribbon (below, right).
